1.20 yrs old man with episodes of loss of consciousness - take history. He mentioned that getting a "strange sensation" just before blacking out, afterwards he had headache, a sore tongue and incontinence. Once during an episode his girlfriend was there and she told him that his body was twitching. Examiner asked about diagnosis (epilepsy).
2.VERY STRANGE - no examiner in this station, just sheets of blank paper and instructions to write up the history of the patient in the previous station as we would write it in his hospital records.
3.CPR - examiner asked when would I stop the CPR (when patient shows signs of life; when help for ACLS comes, when I get exhausted), and what is the frequency of the chest compressions (100/min).
4.Secondary survey - patient had a swelling on her thigh and her leg was held in external rotation - femoral fracture, examiner asked about investigations, immediate management, especially pain relief.

6.Consent for postmortem examination: Lady with endometrial cancer had developed sudden chest pain and passed away, talk to her son. I told him why a PME is useful - beneficial for them to know the exact cause of death, etc. Lady's son wanted to know exactly how it is done, would it scar the body, how much tissue is taken on biopsy, can they proceed with funeral arrangements.
7.20 yrs old lady with amenorrhoea, take history. She had ammenorhoea for 9 months, had broken up with her boyfriend, was under a lot of stress at university, all her friends and family lived far away and she had no one to share her problems with. She had poor appetite and couldn't sleep. (anxiety).
8.Mother gave birth 4 weeks ago, feels depressed, take history and tell her what you plan to do. (postnatal depression). Mother wanted to kill the baby, and herself.
9.Patient with MI being discharged, give him advice on some lifestyle changes.(healthy diet, exercise, stop smoking, drink upto 1 unit/day, don't drive for 4 weeks and inform the DVLA, go back to work in 8-12 weeks depending on type of work, don't travel by plane for 6 months,etc).
10.Patient feeling dizzy on getting up from sitting position. Take blood pressure.
11.Opthalmoscopy - both eyes looked normal.
12. Knee examination. Patient said she felt pain on the medial side of the knee during the collateral ligament test. Dg - traumatic damage of medial collateral ligament.
13. Examine respiratory system. All findings were normal.
14.Lady with acute abdominal pain - take history and give DD.
