vit B12 def also one of the causes of polyneuropathies.it mainly causes subacute combined degeneration where plantar is extensor as u said.so leave the option vit B12 def.choose the option polyneuropathy.polyneuropathy can due to various causes.so here the cause is someone other than vit B12 deficiency.
