b.peritoneal carcinomatosis.
c. Budd-chiari.
d. Alcoholic cirrhosis.
e. Ht failure.
f. Sp bacterial peritonitis.
g. Nephrotic syn.
h. Autoimmune disease.

1. 59 yr old IHD pt is admitted with ankle edema and breathlessness. There is exudative ascitis.

2. 40 yr old lady with h/o freq. alcohol intake c/o recurrent episodes of exudative ascitis. Fluid tap reveals neutrophils.

3. 45 yr old alcoholic p/w ascitis and flapping tremor. Fliud is transudate.
