I agree with Rohit, I thought Medicine was a great profession till I got into it. Now when i advice 1st yrs to try more lucrative lines they think I am trying to prevent competetion. I am not I come from a Poor background and struggled hard to get into top ranks to get into med school. Studied hard to pass thru med school. My friends who did accountacy etc coz they didn't get the marks needed to enter med school are having the last laugh. They have got cushy well paying jobs, driving fancy cars while I still had my trusty Kinetic! I thought it was a bit different here, but sadly it seems the same here too. BUT for goodness sake if you can get thru PLAB do work here if possible as it is better pay than India or even Pakistan!
