SURPRISE QUES- Mx of pt with diabetes -unconscious.Pt on insulin. discuss with examiner inv,rx mx,- examiner had bld glucose values, tc value. chest x-ray.
2. take bp in a pt who feels faint on standing.( beware dual stethoscope-faint sounds.)
3. cpr-
4.exam of resp system.
5. postwhiplash injury-pt depressed-
6. breaking bad news- mesothelioma- break bad news to wife.
7. discuss cervical smear result- cin3- adv colposcopy, biopsy.
8. examine cranial nerves 2-7.
9.fundus exam.not sure of slides ? optic atrophy,Hypertensive retinopathy?
10. history-palpitations. it was panic attack.
11. history- abdominal pain.?cholecystitis.
12.knee exam. rt - following ski injury.
13.explain cystectomy for dermoid cyst- 8.5cm cyst.
14.suturing. simple straight wound.examiner particular about disposal of needle.we had to assume that we had gloves and that la given.
